The most important part about being a nanny...
Aside from the safety and wellbeing of the child(ren) as the primary focus, the most important part, in my opinion, is the presence and effect one has in the child(ren)'s life. By this I mean to say that showing up for and being present and engaged with the child, loving them without condition (not only in heart but in action) and treating them as whole people deserving of respect and communication, makes a world of difference in the development of the child and their psychosocial behavior and wellbeing throughout the lengths of their lives.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Some of my favorite moments with the children I care for are those in which the child recalls something I taught or said to them in a past moment. For example, two of my girls were coloring when the younger made a mistake and began to become upset by it. The older quickly, calmly, and sweetly responded, "It's okay if you mess up! Just turn it into something else! That's what she told me!" ("she" being myself) I was amazed because I had no recollection of having told her that, but it was something she held on to firmly going forward. When these moments happen, I am reminded that my efforts are not nugatory when it comes to equipping and educating these tiny people for the lives they will lead; that I am having some positive effect on the future of these children.

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in San Antonio, TX: Fereshta H.
Hi there! I’ve always been happy around kids, I raised my 3 nephews and 1 niece and know very well how hard and fustrating it can sometimes be to take care of kids, but I have a lot of experience, been taking care children for 5 years. I’m well aware of how to change diapers, make milk, wash the baby, feed it, making them fall asleep, and everything else. Kids are kids and sometimes will make a fuss but that’s just because they miss their parents sometimes, it can be so hard but the best way to deal with it is to stay calm, screaming or violence is NEVER the answer. Although I could not be a live in nanny I can be a full time one. I can work any day, even weekends anytime you need me! I also love to do activities with the kids, I can take them out to parks to have fun, We can watch movies, do homework, read and much more!it’s hard to find a trustworthy nanny, but I promise to make sure they stay healthy and safe!
