I have 15 years of experience as a teaching artist and program manager. I’ve collaborated with organizations like Catholic Charities, City Year New York, and Usher’s New Look to create innovative arts and educational programs for diverse age groups. I’ve designed over 200 programs for youth aged 15–21 and launched a Latin American chapter that served 200 international students.

In my current role, I design literacy initiatives that empower families and build stronger community ties. My contributions to the arts and community have earned me awards including the New York Council of the Arts Su-Casa Grant, the Creative Aging Grant, the New Jersey Council of the Arts Grant, and the John Lennon R&B Singer-Songwriter Award. The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is when a shy child finally opens up—using creativity as their voice. I remember one little one who barely spoke at first. We started with quiet art sessions: drawing feelings instead of saying them. One day, she handed me a bright scribble of red and yellow and whispered, “This is how I feel when I’m happy.” That breakthrough—seeing her use color and shape to share what words couldn’t—reminded me why I do this work. Those moments of trust and self-expression are pure magic.
