Hi, my name is yvette and caring for children has been my career and my passion for over 17 years. I own and operated my own licensed daycare/preschool for 10 years, where I created a loving, structured environment for use on learning through play, kindness, creativity and outdoor exploration. I believe childhood should be filled with books, messy art projects, nature walks, laughter and hands on learning not screens. My goal is to help children feel safe, confident and excited to learn while giving parents complete peace of mind. Families describe me as dependable, patient, organized and someone who truly loves what she does. I enjoy planning fun, educational activities that spark curiosity and creativity. We love making homemade playdough, exploring sensory bins, creating art projects, doing simple STEM experiments, reading books, singing songs, gardening, going on nature walks, visiting parks, building with blocks, pretending, and spending as much time outdoors as possible. I believe the best learning happens through play, imagination, and hands-on experiences.

To me, being a nanny is about so much more than supervision. It’s about helping children build confidence, explore the world through play, and feel safe, loved, and valued every day. I strive to create meaningful experiences through hands-on learning, creativity, outdoor play, and kindness while giving parents the confidence that their children are receiving exceptional care.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One memory I’ll always cherish is seeing a shy little child who was nervous on their first day gradually become confident, independent, and excited to learn. Watching children grow emotionally, socially, and academically while building a trusting relationship with both them and their parents is the most rewarding part of my work.
