I enjoy engaging children in activities that support creativity, learning, and emotional development. Some of my favorite activities include arts and crafts, reading books together, imaginative play, outdoor play and walks, sensory activities, and age-appropriate learning games. I also enjoy helping children practice social skills, problem solving, and emotional expression through play. My goal is to create fun, safe, and meaningful experiences that support each child’s development and curiosity.

My experience with special needs children...
I have experience supporting children with special needs through my work in an elementary school setting. While completing my Master’s in Social Work internship as a school social worker, I also worked as a paraprofessional in a self-contained classroom. In this role, I supported students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and cognitive impairments. I assisted with behavioral support, emotional regulation, social skill development, and daily classroom routines. This experience helped me develop patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to create supportive and structured environments that meet each child’s individual needs.
