Hi! My name is Cailyn, and I love being a sitter because I have always loved working with kids. I have been babysitting since I was 12 and really enjoy getting to know each child’s personality and interests, whether we’re doing arts and crafts, playing games, spending time outside, or working on homework.
I have also tutored children in grades K–5 in reading and writing and have extensive experience working with children with disabilities. I founded Passion 2 Perform, a performing arts program for children with disabilities, and have volunteered with GiGi’s Playhouse as a literacy tutor and camp counselor. I have also worked with The Miracle Project and created Project Bloom, a youth wellness program focused on confidence and connection.
I’m currently a USC student studying Narrative Studies and Social Work with a minor in Occupational Science. I’m patient, creative, responsible, and dependable, and I always want the kids I care for to feel safe, supported, and have fun!

I was a Jumpstart Corps member where I worked with TK and Kindergarten to build literacy skills, social skills, and language skills. I work part time online editing podcasts for a few clients and doing some social media management because I really like that space and want to learn as much as I can.. I love to be outside and like taking child(ren) on daily walks, weather permitting. I like playing games, doing arts & crafts, watching movies, swimming, etc! Naturally I have a very calm, and understanding demeanor which is definitely an advantage to me in working with children because I feel very comfortable during tantrums, handling arguments, fights, etc.. I truly enjoy spending time with children and watching them grow. Being able to be another support system in a child's life is so rewarding. I still stay in touch with many of the children I took care of years ago because this is more than just a job for me. I am Trustline Certified as well as CPR/First Aid Certified.
I think it's very important to have fun, but I also believe in staying active! I love to be outside and will take your child(ren) on daily walks, weather permitting. I love sports (I played soccer and volleyball throughout my life).
