More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have 2 years’ experience as Manager of Pedalheads Bike Camps, Manhattan Beach. I previously held the Supervisor position here, having worked my way up from camp instructor. I also have experience working in a daycare setting with kids 6mo-10yo, as well as assisting in kindergarten-elementary classrooms. Lastly, I have some experience with children with special needs including autism spectrum disorder and nonverbal children under age 10.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Walking, playing, reading, singing, art, visiting parks, dancing, cooking, trying new foods, visiting museums and the aquarium.

Meeting every child where they are and helping them develop confidence from within.

My experience with special needs children...

I have 2 years’ experience caring for young children (ages 1 to 5 years old) on the autism spectrum. I also have experience coaching older children and adolescents with special needs to practice gross and fine motor skills.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I worked with an 8yo on the autism spectrum to gain the confidence and skill set to ride her bike and to participate in group activities despite her social anxiety. Watching her invite a new friend for a playdate made me so proud!
