More About Me
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
One of my favorite activities to do with children is anything creative—whether it’s arts and crafts, drawing, or simple DIY projects. I also love reading with kids and helping them explore their imagination through storytelling. Depending on their age and interests, I enjoy doing fun educational games, outdoor play like going to the park or playing ball games, and indoor activities like puzzles or building with blocks. I always try to mix fun with learning and adapt activities to keep them engaged, active, and happy!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and trusting environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and free to be themselves. It’s not just about supervision—it’s about truly connecting with the child, understanding their needs, and helping them grow emotionally, socially, and mentally. Building trust with both the child and the family is key, and being reliable, patient, and attentive helps create that strong foundation. At the end of the day, it’s about making a positive impact in their lives and being someone they can depend on.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked for two years as a site director at a family shelter in New York, where I supported children of all ages, including those with mild disabilities. I also help care for my younger sister, who has learning challenges and is homeschooled. These experiences have taught me how to adapt to different needs with patience, creativity, and compassion, while creating a safe and supportive environment for kids to thrive
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a child I cared for learn to tie their shoes. It might seem small, but they had been struggling with it for a while and were getting really frustrated. We practiced together over time, and when they finally got it on their own, they were so proud and excited—they ran around showing everyone! It was such a rewarding moment to see their confidence grow, and it reminded me how meaningful the little milestones can be when you’re part of a child’s journey!

I am a responsible, caring, and dependable person with a strong background in healthcare, customer service, and community-based work. I recently graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences, and I plan to continue my career in nursing. Through my experiences working in healthcare, senior care, and community outreach, I have developed patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to care for others with compassion and attention to detail.
I enjoy working with children and families, and I understand the importance of creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment. I am reliable, organized, and able to follow routines while also being flexible when things get busy. I would describe myself as nurturing, trustworthy, and someone who takes responsibility seriously.
