Hi, I’m Zariah Henry, and I am a very charismatic, kind, and loving person. Grant it, I may not have the amount of experience you are looking for on paper, but I can assure you that I definitely have it from real life experiences. It isn’t unlikely for me to be known as one’s babysitter, as in my youth, help caring for children is when it started. Outside of many personal-at home babysitting gigs I’ve encountered, I assisted my sister when she worked at a daycare, assisted the youth Sunday school teacher, and is currently a substitute teacher for Lamar county. It is safe to say I work with any special needs children, as in my position, I have engaged with students from elementary-high school. Genuinely, I’ll care for any child simply because there is a passion and hope to further my career involving the mental health of children with my bachelor’s degree in psychology so far. My stance is that If I start now, it will shape the outcome of their adulthood/future. That’s important to me!

I love beating anyone in uno, love to swim, and definitely don’t mind a little running. If you have children in sports, we can definitely practice a bit outside to get that exercise!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Not letting anything go unnoticed and the safety of one’s child. It is a very scary world out here and I know how hard it can be to have so much trust and faith in who is around your children. Definitely believe in cameras or check ups when leaving your children supervised with others outside of parents.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with verbal and nonverbal children from pre-k through high school. This have mainly been done at Bellevue Elementary and Lumberton Elementary/High School.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is when me and the children I babysat had a live at home concert, dressed up with the shades on, jewelry, and had an echoed toy microphone to sing through while we danced/ performed. That was definitely fun, they were singing and dancing their heart out as if this performance was real. Also, I have enjoyed the splash pad at Wes Crile Park, we love the water, especially in the summer, it’s really fun and keeps us cool! Who doesn’t love the park, involving water and snacks!
