Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve volunteered at a boys and girls club to help clean and organize sports equipment and coach flag football games. My siblings went there as well so that was my main reason volunteering.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I always like to ask the parents if their children enjoy playing games, going outside, watching their favorite shows, etc and asking the kid to what they enjoy doing. So I’m not making them do something they don’t like or are not having fun with but I will bring coloring book, balls, and other toys so that way we have at least something for the little one just in case they might have their favorite toys/activities at home already.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being there in the moments when the parents have to step away for some time so that the child never feels alone and the parents have peace of mind knowing someone is watching over their child and will protect him or her with his life if need be even if just for a couple hours or a minute or two phone call. It’s a bond that has been created out of trust and love for the well being of the children at all times wether they are yours or mine.

My experience with special needs children...

I’m not gonna lie and say I have cared for a special needs child before but I will say that every child has needs some might have more than others but they ALL need love & support and for someone to be there for them as they discover the world.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I held my baby sister (3) down a little park slide and she started laughing and giggling. Kids having fun that’s just how it’s supposed to be, we then went home and had marshmallows and took a nap.
