More About Me
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
The activities I enjoy the most while caring for children would be: going on walks/the park, going to the library, and going to museums. Being that I’ve been a nanny for so long, I know a lot of the free programs that many places offer for children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important aspect about being a nanny is having a genuine love for children and a desire to nurture their growth. Doing this while providing a safe and healthy environment. Also, establishing a strong relationship with the children and the family. All of those are things I strive to do with every family I work with.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with two different families with special needs children. One of the families I worked for I got to take the child to therapy. During therapy I would offer to sit inside to better understand the children’s needs and just to get an insight on how to care for them in the most effective way.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My top 2 favorite nanny moments will always be when a child accomplishes a goal that we’ve been working towards and when a child learns how to say my name.

Hi! I'm Grace, a recent Vanderbilt graduate with degrees in Psychology, Medicine, Health, and Society, and Spanish. I also worked in a child development research lab studying infant learning and exploration.
I've been babysitting for over 10 years, and I spent two summers nannying for a toddler—one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I'm a compassionate, creative, and dependable caregiver who loves using play to support learning and emotional growth, whether that's crafts, outdoor adventures, imaginative games, or helping children build confidence and healthy coping skills. I'd love to connect and see if I'd be a great fit for your family!
