After two years of working as a teacher in Madrid I am returning to NYC! In Madrid I taught ages 6-8 in both English and Spanish. I planned lessons and ran weekly story-time which included after reading workshops and activities. I also worked with older students aged 12-14 giving private tutoring in English for Cambridge language exams (similiar to standardized American tests). I worked, too, as a substitute teacher at La Casita de Ingles in Madrid, where I taught art and baking workshops to students aged 2-8. Before moving to Spain, I held roles in the art education departments at MoMA PS1 and the Art Institute of Chicago, where I taught art-making workshops to student visitor groups.
