I’ve done olerlo of volunteer work with children. I grew up doing gymnastics cheer and soccer and I’ve worked as a couch for young children for all three of those sports. I’ve also volunteered in high school to work with children in the kindergarten of our district.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing learning activities inside but I mostly love outdoor activities with kids. I think it’s great for kid to be outside and get fresh air. I definitely prefer activities that don’t involve electronics since I don’t believe that it’s healthy for kids to be staring at screens all day.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe that the most important part of being a bay is respecting the parents and what they want for their child or children. I also believe it’s extremely important to look out for the kids safety and make sure you’re always looking out for them. Being alert and aware is extremely important it’s definitely not a job where you can doze off and think about other things but since I love working with kids so much being in the moment with them is no problem for me. Overall It’s important to be a good role model that keeps the kids safe, happy and healthy.
My experience with special needs children...
I have some experience working as a coach. I’ve worked with special needs children but my younger brother has special needs so I’ve grown up with him and have a lot of experience from that.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite times as a nanny have always been when the kids are happy and excited. It makes me so happy to see them smile and learn new thing whether we’re on a walk and they see a cute caterpillar or if we’re making cookies and they’re excited about that. The moments of laughter and silly jokes are what I appreciate most.
