Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy taking the kids on walks, I find that especially when they’re little it’s an easy way to get out energy and as long as the parents are ok with it I usually turn on the tv for them when I’m making meals so that they’re occupied. With older kids I often play games with them whether that be board games, cards or video games is up to them and their parents. Honestly for all age groups I’ll do whatever makes them happy as long as it’s ok with the parents of the child.
My experience with special needs children...
I have a little cousin with DiGeorge syndrome, he is now two years old and I’ve been there for him in any way that I could. DiGeorge syndrome basically stunts the growth of a child causing them to develop at a slower rate than most other children.
