A little bit about me

I have been babysitting family and friends children since I was 14 years old. After turning 16, I started working part time for other families, with kids elementary age to infants. I have lots of experience with all ages, personalities and differing needs! I have extensive experience tutoring and aiding children with special needs. I work at wave gymnastics coaching all ages and skill levels, I am equipped with the tools to be encouraging while also disciplined in helping aid advancements in anything your child may pursue. In addition, I tutored underclassmen in high school. I have a clean, consistent and safe car. Nonsmoker and very comfortable working with animals. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I coach gymnastics at the esteemed club of Wave Gymnastics. I am responsible for multiple teams ranging in ages from Mommy and Me being 2-4, all the way up to high school age of 17 and everywhere in between. I always show up prepared to be a mentor to these girls, teaching them life skills, as well as showing them how to excel in gymnastics and place high in competitions. I take my responsibility of showing these girls how to move through not only the sport, but also life, while being a kind, respectful and all around good person. I am held to a standard of always showing up on time, being reliable last minute if I am needed to take over another coaches team, and also being gentle and disciplined while helping my girls emotionally and nurturing their confidence as young girls.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to be super active with the little ones I watch! I encourage fun activities like being outside, going on walks, going to the park, riding bikes, going to the pool, playing sports and more. I also love being creative, doing arts and crafts, playing music, and more! I would love to encourage and dive into any interests you child has.

The most important part about being a nanny...

in my opinion, the most crucial part of being a nanny is being part of the little one growing and learning every single day. Their brains are learning SO much every single day and I feel it is such an honor to be able to help them. I love that I get to watch them turn into mini humans. It is so special to me.

My experience with special needs children...

In Highschool, I tutored many special needs students as a teachers aid. I nannied a 4 year old with special needs weekly for a little under a year. Additionally, while coaching at Wave Gymnastics, we have a few special needs children that I assist when requested to do so by the parent.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I would say my favorite moment was when a little one I had watched for a long time had reached the milestone of walking after I was helping him practice standing for months. I was so proud of my little buddy!
