Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have a second job as a patient care assistant at a children’s hospital on the pediatric intensive care unit where I work with children ranging from a few weeks all the way to age 19.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I have a different favorite activity for each age group of children I work with. Ages 0-1 year I love doing tummy time and playing with toys with them. Ages 2-4years I like to have a dance party, and go outside. Ages 5 and up I like to play board games and go outside as well
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny in my opinion is trust and comfort. My ultimate goal is to make sure the child/children are comfortable and protected.
My experience with special needs children...
I have quite a bit of experience with working with special needs children. As I stated earlier I work as a patient care assistant on the pediatric intensive care unit at Norton children's hospital and there are a few special needs children that needed my attention. I have a disabled 2 year old sister with Erbs Palsy and torticollis. As well as my mother is a case manager who works with special needs clients for over 10 years.
