The most important part about being a nanny...
Helping the family by being open and compassionate and all working together to be consistent as a whole.
All the love you give you get back tenfold.
All the love you give you get back tenfold.
My experience with special needs children...
I have taken care of children with mild symptoms of autism
I also wasn’t sure if one child had muscular dystrophy because we had to wait until he turned three years old before they could do a muscle biopsy to determine that possibility.
Fortunately he did not have it.
Not knowing much about this disease as I was very young I tried to build up his muscles by taking him to gymnastics. swimming, skating any any other activity that I thought may slow down the progression due to strengthening his muscles.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I have so many.
However I will go back to my last family.
Anika whom I started with at about four weeks was a very smart and early learner.
She was talking at ten months but it was quite something to stay ahead of her.
She was to smart for her own good.
I do not like to give timeouts easily.
Now with Anika it was every ten to fourteen days before I had to wheel her in.
At first it was very difficult because she would say such mean a hateful things that it would make me cry.
However once she was done then came the big hugs and I love you’s along with your the best nanny ever.
