We have two sons -- a curious 3.5 year old and a snuggly 7 month old. We are hoping to arrange care 3 days per week from approximately 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM although we would also consider 4 days per week with an adjusted schedule. Our eldest will be starting half-day preschool in the fall, so we would ideally keep the same schedule for our little one at that time and have the older one join for after- school care.
We would be able to host in our home (near Asbury and Dempster) and are also willing to drop-off within the Evanston/Skokie/Wilmette/Rogers Park area. We would be open to a nanny who is interested in bringing their own child with them in place of or as part of the share, as well, or an exclusive part-time nanny.
A few things about us:
- Both parents work from home most of the time at this point.
- We will have a dedicated space (playroom, bathroom, sleep area) for the share, so hopefully won't be too disruptive to the kids when we are working from home.
- We are fully vaccinated (and boosted) and plan to vaccinate our children once they are eligible.
- We do have one dog, but she will be "working" with us during the day and separate from the children.
