A little bit about us…

Hi, my name is Ari. My wife and I have a sweet, funny toddler on the autism spectrum. We are looking for a helper who can engage our son in home and on outings. Whether it's the playground, accompanying us to fun outings, or appointments for speech and Occupational Therapy, we'd love a *reliable,* warm person who can help us teach him new social skills, work on tasks he is learning in therapy, and eventually RECC (preschool program).

Other tasks include changing diapers, helping enforce potty training principles, playing, coloring, etc. Ideally, you'll generally earn his trust and affection just by having fun.

Helpers experienced with autistic toddlers, or who are willing to learn in continuing education is a major plus. Someone patient enough with a speech delay and ASL signs, (in tandem with words) is also a major plus. He also loves sitting in laps (and honestly, our little black cat does too).

We are looking for someone who will engage him and find things to do with him that he will enjoy. We also have two cats, so must be comfortable with pets. We may occasionally need pick up/drop off to speech, OT, or eventually RECC, but the job is more about helping my wife juggle all the tasks day to day with our son and help us in the recommended at-home work to help our son reach his milestones, both verbal and occupational in nature.

Our son is generally a calm, happy boy, but also gets overwhelmed and frustrated when someone is too energetic, noisy, or too in his face. The ideal candidate is someone who knows when to speak softly, give a hug, or just give him some space as needed to meet his more introverted personality. Hours and days are flexible. We are an easygoing family with a reasonable sick leave and vacation policy, but commitment to showing up without excessive unexpected absences is a must.

Can't wait to meet you! 🤗

A little bit about us…

Hi! I’m a mom of two (a 3 year old girl and 1 year old boy). I’m a nurse and need someone a couple times a week while my husband and I are at work. My schedule is pretty flexible and I can work basically any day of the week. I would need someone who can drive since our toddler will be in preschool 3x a week in the fall.

Seeking a nanny share for my 8-month-old. He is a very sweet natured and easy going baby. Loves rolling around on the floor, 'talking' to you, and snuggling/contact naps. Looking for someone who can care for him 8:30 - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday while I work from home. Hoping for someone who has their own transportation and can start as soon as May 1st!
