A little bit about us…

My wife Juliette and I are looking for about 8 hours a week of help a week (Mondays and Wednesdays 8am-12pm) for our family of a 17-month old girl and newborn boy. Juliette will be home on Wednesdays, this role would be like a mommy's helper/babysitter for the newborn so Juliette could get out of the house with the toddler as needed! There will likely be some days for overlap with the toddler, but primarily it will be 1:1 with the newborn. Let us know if you are interested in discussing further!

A little bit about us…

I will be a scientist at UConn. Our family is considering a relocation to Farmington. My wife is an Auditor.

Our two children are Alex (3yo M) and Logan (1.5yo M), two little guys full of fun!

I tend to work 8-9am to between 3 and 5pm. Hours can range from 30-40hr/wk of childcare. We’re happy to pay a fixed rate.

We have a 7yo Great Dane, Kendall. She might be one of the largest dogs you’ll meet, but she is also the sweetest. She was raised in a home daycare facility and we adopted her at 1yo.

Duties:
Promote academic growth by fostering a learning environment for our children
Play and have fun with our boys
Feed our boys
Change our youngest child’s diaper (our oldest is potty trained).
We do request that screen time is limited to 1hr/day (nap or quiet time) and for daycare providers to not be on their phones during play.

A little bit about us…

Salaried position for our family who is seeking a full-time, long-term, experienced nanny in our home to help care for our children and help with household/pets. Our 2 youngest are school aged (9y and 11y) and the older 3 are either in HS or college. Most of the help will be with the younger 2 and rides for my high schooler to/from after school activities.
Hoping you can start at end of August. Primarily M-F- hours will vary by day based on our schedules. Occasional weekends/ weeknights may be needed but would be additional and not factored into salary. Before/ after school care needed most but not all days; availability during day in case of school absence is also a must and of course school holidays/breaks. Must be able to do drop offs/pick ups for after-school activities. Nanny must be patient, loving, prompt, reliable and flexible and must be willing to become part of our family. Applicant must be a dog lover; dog responsibilities in home as well will be expected as there are limited child care needs during day.
