A little bit about us…

Hi! We are a Navy family, and I recently got a job and will be returning to work this summer and will be looking for a nanny. Teddy is 3 and is very sweet and still takes naps in the afternoon. Virginia is 7 and very imaginative and spunky. Gus is 11 and Andy will be 13. They're good kids who do well with structure. In the summer I usually cycle the independent older two through set amount of outside/reading/screen time.
I've done my best to have them value kindness and respect, imagination and creativity. I'd need mostly overseeing the older boys from afar and keeping them on schedule and encouraging them to do some chores and get enough outside/ non-screen time. For the littles, they'd require more time and attention -- reading books, playing outside, maybe watch a movie. The older boys can get their own food, but the littles would need lunch and a snack.
Teddy is potty trained but still needs a little help practicing bathroom tasks like getting pants back on. We also have a small Boston Terrier. She loves to play and go on nature walks, and she still takes a nap in the afternoon, usually when Teddy does.

I don't exactly know when my start date is as it depends on the slow processing of some paper work. But I'd likely need this as recurring help (minus a week or two for a family vacation) every summer.

A little bit about us…

Both my wife and I are in the military. Our son is 1.6 years old and has too weak on an immune system to be apart of day cares. We have 2 very loving dogs that will not be out during the day while the nanny is in the home if they are not comfortable with dogs. I work 6am - 2pm while my wife works 7 am -5 pm.

We need a nanny that is comfortable with caring for a 1 year old, that can be at the home before 6:30 am, M-F and is not allergic/afraid of dogs.
