Our family lives in downtown Brooklyn with two children (son in 1st grade and daughter in PreK). We are looking for an afternoon babysitter to start working with us in September, and help us in the afternoons/evenings with picking up our kids from school, taking them to after school activities, preparing dinner, and making sure the children are showered and ready for bed. The hours are primarily 4 hrs/weekday (either 3-7 p.m. or 4-8pm), as well as occasional weeknights and weekend hours, plus opportunities to work full days when children are off from school. The ideal person is comfortable taking our children on the subway, preparing meals, and supporting the development of healthy friendships and their sibling relationship.

Responsibilities include food prep, cooking, light housekeeping, light pet care, pick ups, afterschool homework for 3rd grader monday through friday and in summers less but partial month of June and partial month of August live in needs.
