A little bit about us…

Hello! We are looking for a weekend nanny in South Boulder.

We have a 1 year old daughter (born in July of 2021). We are interested in finding someone to consistently help out with some weekend days (likely 2 to 3 weekend days a month at a minimum, but could be more). This schedule would be known pretty far in advance (min of 2 weeks, usually 1 to 2 months in advance).

Our beautiful home is located near South Boulder Rec Center within walking distance of a beautiful park. We are offering a competitive rate based on experience ($20-25 per hour).

We are fun and loving parents looking for someone who wants to grow with our family. Our ideal nanny is someone that has infant/toddler experience and values open communication and scheduling activities for the kiddo (arts/crafts/baking/science/etc). The right nanny for this position is: positive, loving, relaxed, and reliable. We will supply gear for the nanny to feel comfortable going out on walks and adventures, doing arts and crafts or other activities, and reimburse mileage for outings. We do not practice a certain type of parenting but we encourage independence in our little one.

In addition to caring for the little, we would love a nanny that can help with occasional light housework during nap time, such as: tidying up the kitchen, emptying the dishwasher, and baby laundry. We also have a very sweet, elderly dog, so the nanny must be comfortable with dogs.

Please reach out if interested - we’d love to hear from you!

A little bit about us…

Hi! Our lovely daughter does have special needs (below), so we're looking for the right match.

She has cerebral palsy, which affects her movement and speech. The thinking part of her brain is a normal, fun-loving seven year old. She uses a walker and sometimes a wheelchair. She needs help with basic activities, and really needs supervision to be safe as she does become more independent.

Our daughter loves playing with her friends, learning, museums, art projects, working out to get stronger, and other fun activities like cheerleading and more.

During the school year, ideally we'd have help at least Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:15pm - 8pm, but we can add more hours of house-management-style-work for the right person, if needed. Also, Saturday from 9:30am - 6:30pm. We need some flexibility to have overnights, or date nights on some evenings, and also some willingness to come travel. There will be at least 35 hours of work for the right person.

Responsibilities include helping our daughter with basic, everyday tasks, and keeping it clean around her (not general housekeeping); basic cooking for our daughter; some pick-ups, drop-offs, appointments; playdates (going to and hosting); activities to keep our girls growing; help with homework and learning in general. Some basic administrative work to help with our daughter may come up for the right person.
