About Us:
We are a warm and friendly family in the South End searching for a loving and experienced nanny to care for our three-month-old daughter. Both parents work Mon-Friday and we both occasionally work from home. We would greatly value someone with 3+ years of experience as a nanny. Ideally, we are looking for candidates who bring great energy and ideas to engage and entertain our baby through her toddler years.
Schedule:
-Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm; Flexibility to work extended hours, and we’ll provide the additional hours well in advance.
-2 weeks of paid vacation plus 10 days of paid holidays (New Year’s Day, MLK Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day).
Nanny Qualities and Skills Required:
-3+ years of experience, including experience with infants. Ability to provide strong references.
-Non-smoker
-Bilingual preferred (Polish or Italian and at least some English)
-Driver’s license not required but is a plus.
Responsibilities:
-Bottle feeding on regular schedule
-Naps on regular schedule
-Outdoor time every day
-Light housekeeping
-Planning activities and outings
-Age appropriate educational activities
-Occasional errands with Serena (eg picking up food at grocery store)
