Well to start off currently I am a single stay at home mother of a now 1 year old boy, his birthday was August 16th, he would be accompanying me to any jobs I may receive. I take pride in how developmentally advanced my son is according to his pediatrician. I have worked extensively with him since birth and am always making sure I am keeping him stimulated and learning something new. He is a very happy little man, thinks everyone wants to be his friend. He started crawling, walking ,and now talking early. His little mind is always going.
My experience work wise with children is quite extensive. I have a work background in education, I was an active substitute teacher for about 4 years, I mainly dealt with special needs students. I am still currently employed as a substitute but am "inactive." For quite sometime I had an on going position in a second grade inclusion class working with kids with various disabilities. I worked as a substitute for all ages from preschoolers to seniors in high school though through out the years I enjoyed the variety with the students. I also had a job working with individuals at the adult learning center who were pursuing their GED. Prior to becoming a substitute I nannied for a family for a little over 3 years until the family moved out of the country (which did break my heart) they had 3 young girls whose ages were in the beginning 3,5 and 7. I also had a job working with the city of Virginia beach as a before school and after school teacher for middle school and elementary school. While I was in college I took classes in early childhood development as well.
