I'm the current nanny for a wonderful family who lives in a great neighborhood in Northern Virginia.
The father works from home office FT, and the mother is a dentist at a dental practice. Their kids are 3 (boy) and 10 (girl, 4th grade).
The 3 y/o boy is full of energy! He is recently potty-trained, enjoys giving hugs, and talks a lot to everyone. Every day, we practice letters of the alphabet, count 1-10, play games with shapes and puzzles, and do simple household chores together. He is highly motivated by hugs, science projects, and anything sweet!
The 12 y/o girl is extremely creative and emotionally intelligent. She plays violin and piano, and enjoys keeping her room as organized as possible. She requires a lot of supervision and warm encouragement as this is her first year learning from home (she logs into her computer for school 9am-3pm M-F).
We are looking for someone I can train to take my place (hopefully by mid-January) who is kind, compassionate, energetic, creative, organized, structured, and fun.
Simple cooking and light housekeeping required. No pets in home.
This is a 40 hour per week (FT) position, M-F, 9-5pm.
