A little bit about me
Hi everyone, I'm Julia! I will be moving back to CT in the new year! I would be described as a professional, fun, and experienced nanny that specializes in children with autism. I have been a nanny for about a year now but have several years of experience with children. I am fully vaccinated, have recently been CPR/ First Aide Certified (willing to retake the course) , have a clean driving record, and have experience with ages 8 months-teens. I have worked as a preschool and toddler teacher and have special needs students there, as well as care for other children outside of work who has autism. I have worked as a behavior tech in the past and also have a diagnosed brother so you can say I have seen all aspects of it. My experience as a teacher gives me the knowledge to plan appropriate educational activities to help with reaching mile stones at any age!

A little bit about me
Beyond my classroom background, I have significant experience working with children with special needs. I am also fully comfortable and experienced with G-tube feeding and care, and I understand the importance of following medical routines with precision and care. I aim to provide a safe, inclusive environment where every child, feels supported and safe.
I believe children learn best through play and curiosity. I love getting down on the floor to build, create, and explore alongside them. I’m big on emotional support and making sure that children feel heard and respected. Whether we’re working on developmental milestones or just having a fun day, I’m here to be a reliable partner to your family.
