The Patel Family - Hiring in Los Angeles
The Patel Family
Central LA, Los Angeles$18/hr  |  1 kid

My husband and I live in the Mid-Wilshire area and have an amazing 15 month old son. We are a fun and respectful family looking for an enthusiastic and engaging family assistant to 1) be an extra set of loving arms 2) keep our home in functioning order (which includes cooking or helping with cooking family meals - comfortable and/or willing to learn cooking Indian food and other ethnic foods in a healthy manner), 3) take initiative and feel comfortable with taking the lead on doing things around the house to keep things running smoothly. I will be home initially to help train and on-board for at least the few months! We use the COZI App to keep everything organized, and expect the nanny to help with updating the baby’s daily agenda. We will provide a vehicle for running errands and transporting our child, and credit card for all family related charges. Usual working hours (may vary): M-F 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, we'd appreciate someone with flexibility to help on the few rare occasions for a very early start or a late evening. We would request any off schedule times, weekends/evenings well in advance. We have a housekeeper that does a monthly deep clean. We are looking for someone honest, no drama, fun, and easy going. We would like a LONG TERM addition to our family! We envision you joining us on family vacations to random parts of the globe, so flexibility to travel with us internationally would be much appreciated, but not required. The interview process will consist of a phone conversation, review of resume with references, an in person interview so you can meet all of us, review of our family assistant agreement and payment terms, reference checks and professional background check, review of immunization records, and finally an agreed upon start date. We look forward to hopefully meeting with you soon!
