We're the Stephens family and we live in a beautiful town called Nocatee in the Greater Jacksonville area. More specifically, we are Emily and Jake, mom and dad to three amazing little kids. We both grew up in South Florida but we recently relocated to Ponte Vedra, FL (it's right in the middle of Jacksonville and St. Augustine--and only 6 miles from the beach). Emily is in digital marketing and works from home and Jake is in IT and currently works for Carlisile in St Augustine. We love our work but cannot wait for the end of the day to hit so we can have family time.
Our kids, Stella (4), Graham (2) and Olivia (13 months) are fun, energetic and active kids who love to read, dance, engage in arts and crafts and play with friends. No two days are the same around here so it keeps life interesting.
Stella goes to school so most interactions will be with Graham and Olivia. We'd love to set up a weekly schedule that includes trips to local play gyms and museums, play dates with neighborhood friends, sensory activities at home and of course, keeping up with their eating/nap schedule.
Luckily, both Graham and Olivia often nap at the same time. This gives our new nanny the opportunity to put toys away, clean up from lunch, get lunch for yourself and get any afternoon activities ready.
The person who becomes our live-in nanny should be hardworking, passionate about childcare and education, friendly and able to multitask. We know three kids under 4 1/2 years old will be no easy task and not leave a lot of room for down time during working hours (except those precious nap time hours)
Some days, I have an hour or two free in my day at random times. During these times, I'd love to take over with the kids and have our nanny help out with putting their laundry away, organizing the play room or running to the grocery store. It gives me the opportunity to spend extra time with the kids but still have help getting household tasks done.
