Our baby boy will be born next month and we are looking to host a nanny share to begin in April, 2019 in Alexandria. My husband and I work from home fairly often, so we would like to host the nanny share in our home. We are first time parents in our early 30's. My husband is an attorney and I am a lobbyist for an energy company. I am the oldest of seven children, so I am very comfortable with children and babies myself, but I will be returning to work full time in mid march. We do have a goldendoodle who is a year old, and we have two cats that are hardly seen. All the pets are extremely friendly and our dog LOVES children. My husband works for the federal government and has an adjusted work schedule, so we would not need a nanny in our home every other Friday. We live in a large townhome near Telegraph Road with a lot of space. We would love to find a family in a similar situation who is looking for more personalized and quality childcare that is still in some range of affordability.

Looking for an intuitive, fun, creative, and reliable nanny/personal assistant. Kids are aged 5 and 15 months. Looking for someone who loves the outdoors, has a good driving record, and can cook basic meals for the kids. You will be working the second half of the day shift from 1-9, M-F, and there is a morning nanny/house manager whom you will be working with. Other duties include: keeping things off the ground, transportation of children to and from afternoon activities, and keeping the main living areas clean. Mom and Dad are very busy balancing full time jobs, dissertations, and running their own companies and so would appreciate being able to spend quality time with their children while they are home and knowing the nannies can be responsible for getting meal times, bed times, and other transitional activities covered. If this sounds like something you could be a match for you, then we would love to hear from you because we are looking for someone to start ASAP!

My daughter Claire is three months old. We just moved to Parkfairfax, a little community near Shirlington, VA. My husband is a night nurse at Virginia Hospital Center so we are looking for someone to watch Claire while he is sleeping during the day, three or four times per week. We are looking for a nanny who speaks English as a first language or well enough to be able to understand it easily. We are open to our child learning another language so a nanny who is bilingual is also welcome.

We are also open to Nanny share with another family who have similar needs.

To provide more background about ourselves. As I mentioned, my husband is an ICU nurse at VHC and I am a judicial law clerk at the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims in DC. We are both 29 and Claire is our first child; she was born one year after our wedding practically to the date! We love walking/running/hiking, going to new restaurants, cooking and reading. I love hosting parties and book clubs.

We are seeking a nanny share starting in either December or January for our two children (Shirlington/ Del Ray/ Bel Aire Alexandria area). Ideally, we would like to host as our 2.5 year old son will go to a pre-school near our house three days a week. I am due with our second child in October and feel the best nanny share would be with a family that either has a newborn or a 2.5-3 year old. That way the nanny is only handling two age groups rather than three! If you are seeking a nanny share with another infant or toddler, please let us know! I also have a home office and can step in when the nanny gets overwhelmed or life just gets a bit crazy. Both my husband and I have very flexible work schedules. Thanks!
