The Gonzalez Family
& Irina Llorenes
Pacific Heights, San Francisco$30/hr  |  1 kid
We are looking for a family to join our sharecare. Our daughter is 20 months old.

Our amazing nanny - Irina is an absolute gem. She has worked as a nanny for several other families and before joining us worked in a sharecare setting with two boys for 3 years until they were ready for preschool. I honestly interviewed a dozen people when we were looking to set up our original arrangement and she was so clearly of a different caliber. She is full of energy, incredibly warm, very focused on the children's development, and reliable. She ensures that there is ample stimulation and takes the girls to a local activity (music class / library) every morning and spends lots of time with them in the park. She also cooks healthy meals, reads lots of books (never turns the TV on), and keeps the area tidy. She speaks Spanish to the girls but is also completely fluent in english (she is from Mexico but here legally for over 10 years). Most importantly, Irina genuinely loves the girls and gives them an incredibly nurturing environment.

Our family:

Our daughter is 20 months old and a very happy toddler. We are both working professionals and moved to SF about two years ago from NYC.

The details, location, and current set up:

Our sharecare family's last day is Sept 7th, so we'd love to have the other family start around then (I'm sure we can find flexibility in the dates for the right fit). We live in Pacific Heights and currently host the sharecare exclusively in our home (because the other mother worked from home and preferred a little more quiet). Irina currently works with us Mon-Thurs 7am-6pm and Fri 7am-5pm. We are hoping to find a family that is interested in overlapping for at least 40hrs a week (ideally more). Her rates are $30/hr for both children (i.e., each family pays $15/hr) and $22.50 for one child (if you need early/late coverage or for babysitting).

South of Market, San Francisco$14/hr  |  1 kid
We are two working parents who are so in love with our little Beckett! When we found Mylla, after not being able to get Beckett into a daycare - it was like a sigh of relief. She is incredible! She is also bi lingual - Portuguese is her first language. Mylla is open to speaking to your child in English/Portuguese or both (what she does with Beckett) and also works sign language into Becketts mealtimes. Mylla taught young children language in Brazil before becoming an Au Par. Mylla plays, reads, they do sing a long and practice all kinds of ever changing developmental activities throughout the day. Beckett naps in his nursery and we would have a very comfortable brand new pack n play available for another child to nap in our loft(He has only used it twice). You would be welcome to store your own toys, feeding supples, books, etc here full time so that it would minimize having to bring things back and forth. We also have a highchair and floor chair with tray for feeding two at a time. If you work close by Mylla is completely open to parents popping in and out to say hi (we do that sometimes too:) We are very excited about finding a family who is looking for the same things we have found, while helping minimize the cost of childcare in the city. We look forward to meeting you and looking for a mutually great fit for both our families!

Best,
Canaan, Trey & Beckett

We are looking at starting a nanny share relationship starting in Summer 2018. Our baby girl Sofia will turn 1 year on April. We live in Marina and we would be happy to host. We already have a great nanny, she’s extremely engaging, knowledgeable and reliable. She’s 35 years old from Germany and she’s studied early childhood education. She’s speaking Grma. To our baby so she’ll have the opportunity to learn the language very easily.

I have a wonderful nanny and am in a share situation right now. The family we share with be moving this summer/fall. My 19 month old son is thriving in this set up and loves his nanny and buddy. The nanny takes them on daily walks and attends music and other class activities in the neighborhood with the kids. She is very patient, loving and kind with the children. I host at my home three days a week and the other family hosts two days a week. Although we’re sad to lose our share we are very excited to meet another child/family. :)

. We are looking for a family to share with full time (M-F, 8-6).

Came is a fantastic nanny and we've been working with her for >1 year. She takes the kids on trips every day to the park, storytime, museums, music class, and more. She makes food for the kiddos, does light housework, and bathes the babes too. She will pick up the baby from the non-hosting home and drive him/her to the hosting home.

Her rate is for 2 people, so it would be $20 each.

We live in Mission Dolores and can host or are happy to be hosted at your place. Happy to share more!

San Francisco$32/hr  |  1 kid
Long-Time Nanny Share looking for a family to join our share care. We've worked with the same nanny with our first child for the last three years. She heads to preschool and we're expecting our second in mid October.

Logistics:
- Timing: November 2020, flexible on dates if needed
- Currently host in downtown Glen Park (corner of Diamond / Chenery)
- Open to sharing hosting if that's important

Details:
We are looking for a new family to join our share care nanny and our second child starting in November. If starting 2-4 weeks earlier or later is important, we are open to that.

We've been with Ashling since our first child was born 3.5 years ago. We interviewed countless people before deciding Ashling would provide a loving, supportive and experiential environment and we couldnt feel more happy, confident and grateful that we made the decision!

Ashling turns every day into an adventure with daily visits to Glen Park Canyon (and other parks!), Glen Park Library and explorations around the neighborhood. Otherwise, it could be a day trip to the zoo, the local museums and more. Or painting and making Playdoh, drawing with chalk on the sidewalk and reading, reading reading! Olive is potty trained thanks to Ashling, but it's not a requirement for our share care.

Most importantly, Ashling deeply cares for Olive and their relationship is truly beautiful.

About Us - Liz and Tyler have worked in the bay area since 2011 and have lived in Glen Park since 2016. We have strongly held, but not rigid values around creating a caring, meaningful high quality learning environment for our children - healthy, natural foods as much as possible, but an ice cream sandwich at the beach as a special surprise is nice too. Little to no screen time during the week, but we own TVs and sometimes Elmo is an OK distraction.

& Carolina Mejia
Richmond District, San Francisco$14/hr  |  1 kid
We found an awesome nanny, but just had the other family back out of our arrangement. She starts on May 1, and we're looking for another family seeking a long-term (i.e. 2yr+) nanny share arrangement on Mon-Fri. If you don't need a nanny until June 1, that'd work as well. Carolina is fluent in English & Spanish, very nurturing, well educated, and experienced nannying premie twins from 6wk to 14mo, plus caring for other multi-children families. She has agreed to transport our children daily from one home to the other, and we'd alternate weeks hosting. We do have 2 very docile cats (Ragdoll breed that we selected explicitly because of their gentle nature with young children), and a spacious home. Our contracted rate is $28/hr (paid in Cash/Venmo/Paypal), so split $14/hr per family.
