A little bit about us…

I am a nurse at a few different local hospitals in the Denver area and am in need of someone early in the morning from about 6:15-8:30 am to take the kids to school and then pick them up from after school care around 5pm and stay with the kids until I'm home at 8pm. My schedule is never concrete, but most days I need help are Wednesdays and Fridays...maybe a couple of Monday mornings too. Expectations would be feeding them breakfast and making dinner some nights. Getting the kids in the bath as well and into their jammies. I also expect the house to be picked up and dishes done from dinner and breakfast when I get home as well. After school pick up may include taking the kids to an after school extra curricular activity as well. My kids are best buddies and get along well. I’m looking for someone to push their creativity and get them outside to be active. I’m not into having them stare at their screens for a long time. Some screen time is appropriate but I want them to be active. I also need a nanny to be able to help with their homework as well some nights. Looking for someone who can also be firm when needed and set boundaries with the kids. We are a musical family so anyone that is into instruments or singing would be an extra plus! I mainly just want someone with energy and a passion for kids who can be responsible and be a good influence on my babies! It’s so hard to not be around and at work away from them, so I’m hoping the person I find will make them feel comfortable and safe and loved. This role would also potentially transition to more hours in the summertime when the kids are out of school.
