A little bit about us…

Hi,

My wife and I are looking for a nanny for our wonderful boy Theo! He is currently 4 months old and a pleasure to be with. He smiles excessively and overall is very chill. We are looking for someone to care for him in our home while we are working Monday-Friday between about 8-5. His current general routine is to eat every 3 hours, some activity for about 1 hour (right now lots of tummy time and working on rolling over), diaper change and then a short nap. We live in a neighborhood that is easy to take him for a nice walk in the stroller to break it up and get outside. We do have a lovable mini golden doodle that is becoming his best friend.

Looking for someone occasionally be able to to supplement my mother in law 1 day a week ideally 830-5pm on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. We use daycare on Thursdays and Fridays. We also need a consistent date night / weekend help sitter.

You’ll be watching our 15 month old daughter and the 6.5 year old is only home from school after 4pm and is a super easy going kid who loves to play Barbies and american girl dolls.

Must be RELIABLE and have toddler experience - diapering, naps and be ok with a friendly cat Mr.Cuddles.

We parent via the RIE method so a plus if you are familiar with Janet landsbury and gentle parenting such as Dr. Becky and “no bad kids.”. We acknowledge our children’s feelings instead of saying “don’t cry / you’re fine” we empathize with them and expect our caregiver to do the same. We are also working on implementing independent sleep skills for naps.

We can give you our current baby sitter’s info. As a reference.
