The Duke Family - Hiring in Milford
The Duke Family
Milford$18/hr  |  2 kids
B & G are the cutest non-identical twins ever. My husband and I are their foster parents and have had the boys for about 2 months. They just turned 1 in August and have overcome so much in their journey so far. They were born at 26 weeks (almost 4 whole months early!) and have had respiratory issues since their lungs weren't totally developed at birth. G is still on continuous oxygen through a nasal cannula but B has graduated to no oxygen at all! Both boys have trouble eating so they have g-tubes; they are both used to their 'tubies' and don't let it interfere with their joy.

B has blond hair & blue eyes and wears 6 mos size clothes. He is learning to stand on his own and just starting to crawl. He'll be on the move soon and will need someone who will make sure he doesn't get into too much trouble. He has a huge grin and LOVES when people interact with him.

G has brown hair & brown eyes and wears 12 mos size clothes. He had more medical issues than B so he's a little delayed developmentally - he's still learning to roll over and hold his head up. So far he is NOT a fan of tummy time. He's such a sweet boy and his smile, while more reluctant than B's, is absolutely beautiful (especially with his jealousy-inducing long eyelashes).

We are looking for some afternoon/evening help for a few hours 3-5 days a week M-F and weekend day help (either 4-6 ours each day Sat/Sun or one longer shift on just one weekend day). Pay will be up to $20/hr. Ideally, you will have reliable transportation to/from our home. We do have 3 dogs (pitbull, mini doodle & maltipoo) and hope you love dogs as much as we do.

Duties will include overall care of the two infants: changing diapers, mixing formula, feeding them according to schedule, helping them with developmental milestones (sitting, rolling over, etc.), and providing child-focused care. We expect your full attention be devoted to the boys while you're with them.

If this sounds like a good fit, please message me. We need you!
