The Hyland Family - Hiring in St. Marys

The Hyland Family

St. Marys, GA
1 kid
A little bit about us…

My family and I live in St. Mary’s and we’re in need of childcare for our 3-year-old.
I primarily work-from-home and occasionally go to the office. I need care Monday - Friday, 6 hours per day, start time 10:00a.m. Office days (twice a month) would need an earlier start time. I would give plenty of notice for proper planning.

Jacob (3 years old) loves arts & crafts, dancing, story time, sports, and playing with legos. He is potty-trained. I would like someone that enjoys and understands “teach through play”, outdoor activities, and enjoys reading to little ones. Jacob loves being included in all parts of an activity. He loves helping out and would need someone to be patient with him while he conquers his new learned skills.

We believe in and follow a respectful parenting approach. We teach him healthy ways to manage big feelings and develop emotional intelligence (EQ) and appropriate communication skills by setting the example and using age-appropriate discipline. We want someone that values the importance of building a child’s EQ.

My other son, Joshua (9-year-old) attends school and will not be home during the day. However, he will be home during school breaks/holidays. He doesn’t need care, but will be home with me and may even help you during playtime.

Ideal candidates brings great energy and ideas to engage with a fun-loving toddler, in a way that will help him reach milestones and find joy in every day.
