The Lola Family - Hiring in Suwanee

The Lola Family

Suwanee, GA

2 kids

A little bit about us…

We are an international family that enjoys traveling, learning, and meeting other people. We speak multiple languages, have 2 kids, hope to adopt in the future, and are open-minded about culture and experiences. Our kids have been to over 5+ countries since they were born and that has made them kids with high curiosity, resilience, flexibility, and intelligence. Each has a different personality and preferences but yet both are inseparable from each other.

Our 2 kids are clean, responsible, engaging, emotionally intelligent, and usually need time to build trust and get comfortable with others. They love reading, stories, robotics/coding, science, hiking. They like engaging with people.

We recently moved to Atlanta from Louisville and are looking for someone to not just care for our kids but to also eventually be like an extended member of our family. What this means is: for us you are not just a nanny or someone working to care for our kids. We want to get to know you more, we want you to know us and to trust us, and vice versa. We don't want someone who's just looking for a job, doesn't care for kids or easily gets frustrated or impatient with kids, or someone who spends time scrolling through their phone instead of engaging with the kids. We are looking for someone who is passionate about something in life and can talk about their passions. Preferably college students or graduates.

We usually need care on Fridays and Saturdays so it's important that you are available on those days for 3-5 hours. We will start with about 10-20 hours a week, and grow it from there. You will be compensated based on your experience and other factors (between $12.50 and $25 per hour).

Need help with pick up and drop off for my two kiddos. Must be safe driver, non-smoker, have reliable transportation, clean driving record/background check. Depending on pricing they could use support with homework after school. I’m a single mom that unfortunately doesn’t have the magic ability to be everywhere at once even though I work from home. ;)

My daughters are 5 & 3. I am looking for a on call nanny that could possibly turn into something longer term and more hours but someone who is reliable and very good with kids, very trustworthy and patient. Must have own transportation, would come to me but also a option where I can drop them off would be great.
