The Conlin Family
Silver Spring$15/hr  |  3 kids
We have 4-year-old twin boys, Nolan and Cade, who will be attending Pre-K this year (so far their Pre-K is still open!). Nolan is silly, goofy and bright. Cade is thoughtful, serious and bright. We also have a baby who will be 7 months when we need care. Our baby boy, Kellan, is good tempered, sweet, happy and chunky!

Depending on the state of the pandemic, we may still be working at home. Our big kids might also need to be driven to school by 9:00am and picked up by 2:30pm. Most of the nanny's time will be spent with our youngest, Kellan, unless our preschool closes (it is private, so it is currently open).

We are both educators, so we feel very strongly about the way that our children are raised. We set clear expectations, have consistent consequences and show lots of love. We are ethical humanists which means that we believe in being kind, respectful and good people, but we do not believe in God. We celebrate traditional Christian holidays in a secular manner.

We are looking for a nanny who has good instincts when it comes to being consistent but also knowing when to show love and compassion. We also hope that we can find a nanny who will either embrace or accept our atheism and won't try to influence our children with their religion, if different. Because Kellan was born during the pandemic, he has never even had a cold! Therefore he is a high risk individual. We are looking for someone who takes Covid seriously. Finally, we are open to both a nanny share or a live-in nanny. We have a private room and full bathroom in our basement.

& Lucia Apellido
Downtown Silver Spring, Silver Spring$14/hr  |  1 kid
Hi, my wife shares custody of our lovely 2.5 year old daughter with the biological dad and thus we only need care Monday-Wednesday. Luci is an amazing care provider, but we are not able to provide her with a full-time job since our girl is with us only half of the week. If you have a child of similar age, we'd love to hear from you. We can work out the details and responsibilities then.

My husband and I are expecting a baby boy in early January 2021! We are getting an early start on looking for a nanny share for an April/May 2021 timeframe when we go back to work. Job would be for Monday-Friday, around 8am-6pm. We would prefer to drop off our son at the nanny's house, or the other families if they are open to that.
