We love our nanny, Shelly, and you will, too!!! We are an artist and a writer with a happy, outgoing 2.5-yr-old daughter who loves playing with kids of all ages. She will be going to the Smith St. Maternelle in September from 9-2:30 five days a week, and we are looking for a nanny share from 2:30-6:30 or 7:00. Shelly is either looking for someone who needs mornings/early afternoons (8:00-1:30ish, depending on how far you live from Henry St. and 1st Pl.), or she can care for your child all day and you can get a discount on the last 4 hours of the day, plus school holidays and vacations.

Shelly has been working for us since our daughter was 5 months old and we couldn't be happier -- she is so warm and loving and smart and fun (our daughter will often tell us that Shelly is her best friend)! Also always on time, good communication, all that stuff. She has a great network of other nannies in the neighborhood and there are always activities, trips, parties, crafts, etc.

A couple of Shelly's nanny friends are caring for baby siblings as well as toddlers, so if you have a baby, this might be ideal.

We are a small family and looking for another family to start a nanny share. Our current nanny is amazing, she's loving and warm but firm when needed. She is educational and fun and our daughter loves her. She is also the most dependable person I know, she has never been late, not even once!

Hi Parents,

My partner and I currently have a nanny share with another family in our building. The other family is scheduled to move out of state this coming Nov., and we are looking for another family to take over their portion of the share. Our caregiver is an amazing woman with over 20 years of child care experience. It’s been a pleasure working with her so far. Currently, we have coverage Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm, but we can work with a family to determine what hours/days make sense for your needs. Our caregiver is paid $24 an hour (which we split between the families) to care for our 4 month old boy and the other families’ 6 month old girl.

Looking for the other family to join our share beginning Nov 1st, but again, we can be flexible. We live in the Bedstuy area of BK, but own a car and are willing to travel a little bit to drop our son off. Message me if you are interested or want more info.

Our 9-month-old baby has been in a nanny share since she was 3 months old. The family we have been sharing with is now moving out of the city, so we are looking for a new family to share our wonderful nanny with. She has been great with the babies and they love her! Unfortunately, she only speaks Spanish.

We’re looking for a family who wants to nanny share but is willing to drop off at our house. We are able to start nanny sharing Aug.6. Our nanny cares for our son (3 months) daily, and picks up our daughter from school and supports with her in the afternoons. We have intense work schedules so don’t want to drop off at another house but would be willing to host another infant. We have double strollers, toys, etc due to our current kids. Our nanny takes our son out to a lot of activities and maintains an active day with him, including taking him for walks, taking him to our backyard, and taking him to sing-alongs. She speaks fluent Spanish and is speaking in Spanish to our son.
