The Chapman Family - Hiring in Tigard
The Chapman Family
Tigard$20/hr  |  2 kids
We are a two mom household and we both work from home. We need a reliable, responsible, punctual, trustworthy, creative, fun-loving, dependable nanny who is willing to and has preferably had experience with taking care of two kids in different age groups with different needs. We have a 3.5 year old little girl and a 6 month old baby boy. The nanny must also feel comfortable and confident enough to care for our children while we are in the home working. We are gearing our 3.5 year old up for beginning pre-school in the fall, so we will need someone who is willing to offer structure and age-based curriculum on a daily basis for her to prepare her for the structure of school. They are both the most delightful little babes and we would love someone that understands the boundary of being a nanny, yet is okay with a healthy attachment to the children and the family in general. We are not all business, but appreciate the dance between the intimacy of working in one's home and the professional working relationship. We are a fun family and we light to keep that energy in our home. We appreciate someone who is assertive, not aggressive in any way, but understands how to motivate a 3.5 year old. Doing fun activities throughout the summer is something that we encourage and appreciate. Taking the kids to the zoo, to the park, on walks and hikes, teaching them new and fun things about nature, animals, art, cooking, and diversity. We are looking for someone that is available from the hours of 8am to 3pm M-F, and it would be wonderful if we could count on the occasional Saturday as well. We live in SW Portland/Tigard area. We are fully vaccinated and COVID conscious, but not fanatical. We appreciate safety and the importance of keeping our children safe when it comes to COVID and all things. Their well-being is our main priority always. Thanks in advance and we look forward to meeting you!
