The Valentine Family
South Austin, Austin$10/hr  |  2 kids
We are looking for a flexible childcare situation. We are both Chefs. A majority of the time would be our daughter. Our son is only with us part time. My partner and I would want the kids on our days off so a pay per day situation would be ideal. We have sporadic schedules at times. Typically the schedule isn’t finalized until Friday at 5pm for the following week. Our hours could range from 7am until as late as 10pm on worse case scenario evenings when we both would have to work dinner service. South Austin is ideal but willing to travel towards Bee Cave/Marble Falls area or Westlake. Anyone who could pick up my daughter up at 1115 at Casey Elementary from preschool would be amazing! We want to get her enrolled!

Looking for responsible person who is also taking precautions in their social interactions as we have vulnerable individuals in our family.

**About the role**
We’re looking for a nanny for our active 11-month old son starting ASAP. We’re eager to find someone with a background in child development, highly responsible and health conscious (strong COVID precautions, CPR/First Aid certified and a non-smoker). 5+ years of professional experience in a childcare center or nanny position is required. Preference given for those with Montessori experience or Spanish language skills.

Duties would include full childcare, engaging our son in creative and age-appropriate activities, light meal/snack preparation, bottle prep and light child-related housework. We have a small dog that our son loves to play with - comfort with a pet is highly preferred. In a nanny share, we are flexible with a partner family on hosting or alternating. Lastly, we both work full-time remotely at home, but the nanny would have flexibility and independence throughout our space.

Hours for this role are M-F, 9AM-4PM. Pay range is $20-25/hr to Nanny that we can split with a partner family. We’re looking for someone who can become a trusted member of our family for the next 8 months with the opportunity to extend.

**About Us**
Crystal and Chris are technical recruiters who are passionate about education, diversity and inclusion in our day jobs. We're a family that loves music, art, silly 90s pop culture references and long strolls in the park.

Our son is an 11 month old bundle of smiles, crazy hair and laughter. He is a speedy crawler, curious learner and loves when music and singing is around.

Crystal has been able to stay at home full-time with our son through this time and is now transitioning back to work. Both of us work remotely at home, with dedicated space available for play, rest and lunch (we work in other rooms).

We take COVID-19 seriously and are looking to connect with a like-minded nanny and family to help guide our children in a safe and social environment.

The Woodlands, Austin$10/hr  |  1 kid
My husband and I have both been furloughed since March, and have thus been watching our baby girl. Now we are looking for jobs, and needing to also look into child care again. Though we would give this nanny share a shot as I like the idea of having my LO socializing around other kids, but not too many. She is very sweet and quick with a smile.
