Hours (full-time or not)Full-time hours

January 2007 - August 2007 I worked as a nanny for a family in Cincinnati, OH. January through May, I was part time, picking the two girls (ages 4 and 8) up from school, preparing after school snacks and dinner, helping with homework, bathing, and playing. June 2007 - August 2007 I worked full time, living with them. I prepared meals, took girls to zoos, parks, bible schools, museums, etc; helped oldest with school-related work, played, supervised, dressed, bathed, did general housekeeping, arts and crafts, and so on. I left this job due to a change in my academic goals and location. Previous to this, throughout high school and college, I babysat regularly. The children ranged in ages from newborn through eleven. I spent an entire summer babysitting a six year old girl. I have also been in charge of my twelve year old niece and nine year old cousin on numerous occasions. My nine year old cousin lived with us for several months, in which I helped care for her. I also have lots of experience working with children in general through church work and piano lessons. I have helped out with vacation Bible schools, Sunday schools, and bus ministries. I currently am in charge of the children's church at my church. As a senior in high school, I gave piano lessons to approximately fifteen to seventeen students. For seven months I also worked at a youth shelter caring for children / teens ranging in ages from eight to eighteen. I changed jobs because a nanny position became available in my area. I worked for this family of two children, ages 8 and 11, boy and girl, from May 2008 until August of 2009. The reason I left this position was due to the family no longer being in need of childcare due to financial circumstances. I currently am employed as a nanny with a family of two small boys, ages 1 and 3. The family I work for is great, but I am looking for something better paying. I also do various babysitting on the side (including my newborn cousin).
