I have worked with children since I was a child myself, I am the oldest of 4, and grew up always helping my mom. My first job was when I was 11, I was a "mothers helper", and from there on out I have been babysitting and nannying since. I worked at xx while in high school and was the assistant Kindergarten teacher. On days when I was a in the infant wing, they would give me all the crying babies because they knew I liked being able to rock them and calm them. I took care of my godson every morning from the time he was 2 months old till he was 10 months, so that his mother could finish her degree. I taught preschool at xx, holding my own classes, specifically relating to bodily awarenesses and stress reducing activities that empowered children to know themselves more. I would do kids yoga every morning with the students, and talk with them about feelings and start the day with a group activity. My experience working with children had never been "planned" to be so extensive and variable, it was just something that seemed easy for me coming from a bigger family. Now looking back its perfect because my current goals have to do with public education, and I see children as the future, as well as spiritually intelligent little beings. So for me to be able to work with kids, I feel like the student, on an ever learning journey. Id love to meet you and you're children to see if we are a match! :) I have a full list of references available upon request.

I began babysitting at age 15 and have loved it ever since! I babysat two siblings ages 4 & 10 for an entire summer, a couple days a week. Later, I babysat a family of 3 kids ages 3-11 for a couple weeks during the summer and the occasional date night. After, I cared for a 2 year old three to four times a week and a lot on the weekends. For all three families, our days included arts and crafts, movies, going to the park, bike rides, etc. Last summer, I was a nanny for three wonderful kids ages 18 months, 2 years and 4 years. It was the best summer. My duties included waking them in the morning, getting breakfast ready, getting them ready for the day, making lunch, putting them down for naps and keeping them busy. I also occasionally made them dinner if it was going to be a late evening. We did a bunch of arts and crafts, we baked, went to the lunch (where they had kid play places, of course!), went to the mall, park etc.

I have 3 sisters and we were always home alone. Although only one was younger than me, we all shared the responsibilities of taking care of each other. I started babysitting when I was 12 for friends of our family and members of my church, and most recently, I lived with a single mother who had 8 children for about 4 months. They were the best months of my life! I grew to love the children as if they were my own! I hope to find another family just as wonderful to live with, and some more wonderful children to help mold and grow!

I had my first babysitting job when I was 10 years old (I was a weirdly mature 10 year old ;) ) and babysat regularly throughout middle/high school. I took a break in college since I was at a university & there were really not many kids around who needed babysitters! Since graduating, I have had a full-time job outside of childcare, but once a week, I care for a five year-old boy and occasionally his eight and eleven year-old sisters when they are not in school. I love them like they're my own and always enjoy the time away from the adult world & getting back to a child's world :)

I started babysitting as a teenager. My first Nanny position was for a family with four children. I am currently a nanny for two girls, however, they are moving. I have worked in daycare as a teacher and became an assistant center director. I prefer to work as a Nanny. I also tutor children in reading and math.

I am the oldest of five beautiful children. I have always been like a second mom to my siblings. I started babysitting for the families in my church when I was about 12 years old and have loved it ever since. I am very creative and fun. The children are only bored when it's time to go to sleep. I am an early bird and am always on top of things. I read, write, and speak spanish fluently, and took two years of french in high school, so I like to teach some of the kids words and phrases in spanish or french. I help the kids with their homework, scripture studies, and overall have fun.
