I am very qualified to work with all different ages of children. All through high school I took child care at my school. It was a really unique program because it had to blocks. In one block we learned out of the text book about child development and things like that. In the second block we went into the preschool and planned activities and worked with the children. I like to do hands on activities with children. I am good at coming up with projects that are educational and fun. I have also done child development courses at the college level. My mom is a kindergarten teacher and I love to go and help her in her classroom and work with her students. I also had a steady babysitting job babysitting a newborn and a three year old so I have gained a lot more knowledge on working with infants. I worked at the for a year and a half. It is an after school program for children ages 4 to 18. Over the summer it is a recreation program and we do all kinds of crafts, swimming, bowling, and a lot of other outdoor activities. During the school year I was in charge of the homework help program. I have taught dance at a local dance studio for a couple of years as well. My main job was the girls 3-5 years old teach tap, ballet and tumbling mainly working on coordination and rhythm. I also taught a few older girl classes tap and jazz. I have a lot of experience working with children of all ages in different environments.
