Hello! My name is Thomas xx. I grew up in Ventura County, California and recently moved to Pasadena this September. I grew up as the second oldest of 6 children in household with two working parents. This gave me 10 plus years of experience babysitting, nanny, and tutoring my siblings ranging from the infant ages to the teen years. This May I graduated from Ave Maria University in Florida, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. While I am currently a private contract tutor for Varsity Tutor Co., I would love to become a part of your family and add to your child’s growing experience. I have experience as a private tutor from ages 4-18, which not only allows me to continue exploring the truth but also allows me to help others see the beauty and excitement of learning and education. While my entire family background has given me ample experience in childcare, I have also babysat and part time nanny for other families as well. These experiences not only helped me grow as a young man but gave me the fulfillment of aiding in the development of children that I am still close to.

Dear family,

My name is Veronika and I am a nursing major college student with over 10 years of childcare experience from newborn babies to 15-year-old kids. I am originally from the Czech Republic, well traveled. Not afraid of hard work. Most importantly I love kids. I am artistic, active and since I am currently in college my math and English are pretty fresh so I am also able to tutor your children. I enjoy cooking tasty and healthy meals at home. I do light housekeeping and straightening up without asking, I won't leave your home dirty when I leave after work, ever! Activities with kids include: outdoors (parks, swimming pools, beach, bikes/scooters), art (painting, drawing, singing, sewing), education (tutoring, puzzle games, reading), and whatever else your kids enjoy and you are comfortable with. Discipline wise: limited time on electronics - will be taken away if not listening. Explaining smaller children WHY is their behavior wrong and making them understand and will follow your suggestions that work for you. As I mentioned I'm a nursing major, First Aid certified. Rate starting at 20 hr. Have a safe reliable car, excessive driving experience in the city. Capable of carrying for multiple children at once. Confident in all my work. Located in Pasadena and school in downtown LA. I am moving my classes around your schedule usually. There is still time for fall.

I am an older woman who has worked with all types of children all of my life starting at the age of 10 by teaching neighborhood children how to draw and paint. At the age of 15 I started babysitting jobs that continued while working on my undergraduate degree at UCLA. I also worked as a camp counselor teaching arts and crafts through my church as well as taking on a playground coach position at Toluca Lake Elementary School. In the late 1980’s, I entered a Secondary Ed program at CSUN to teach High School Social Studies, Senior Government, Economics and English. In 2009, I Founded a nonprofit where I continue to work with youth and adults through public educational outreach forums, events and craft workshops. Presently, I own my own company in property management, but love to give back to the community by helping parents with childcare. I am available part-time on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursday and some Sundays to work between 3-5 hours;-) I indicated “Live In,” because I am willing to stay over on nights that I am needed. However, I do own my own property. I’m an active person who walks 3-5 miles a day (with my English Springer Spaniel and Border Collie) and cross train plus as a hobby I enjoy oil painting and working with other mixed media and photography. Basically, I love teaching and playing with children to give parents the breaks they need to feel whole;-)
