I have wanted nothing more in life than to be a mother! I was born with the nurturing, positive, patient, and loving personality that goes along with that! Babysitting and becoming a nanny is the closest thing to it at this point in my life! I LOVE children, I enjoy their view on life, watching them discover all the little things that as adults have lost their luster! I have worked professionally with children for about 6 years and love going to work knowing today wont be the same as the previous one. I will be honest in saying that I have not been a nanny far any one set family before, but I have had much experience with children in other settings. I can guarantee I would cherish your children to the fullest extent that I can to match your love for them!

I started as a nanny 5 years ago. My first family where I looked after their two children starting when they were 4 weeks and 2 years old. My primary duties were on the care of the children, focusing on games and activities that were age-appropriate, taking them to activities, attending play dates, and finding things in the community to get them involved and socialize. My secondary duties included laundry, dishes, and organizing the children’s toys and clothing. The second family I worked for, and whom I’m still employed with, began in October 2010. I started working when their children were 6 months and 2 ½ years old. This was a bit more of a demanding job but I have loved the challenge. I am the sole caretaker for both of the girls during the day 8-5 and the occasional overnight. I make sure that the girls are fed, clothed, entertained, and well socialized. I play games and do other age appropriate activities with the girls, I arrange and go to play dates with other children their age, and I drive them to activities. In addition to the care of the girls I am in charge of laundry for the family, making sure all household products and items for the children are stocked, running errands, organizing all toys and clothes, doing dishes, preparing meals, and grocery shopping.

Hello Parents! My name is Alexandra. I know you are looking for a trusting/reliable nanny to take care of your children so first let me tell you about myself. I a 24-year-old college graduate with a degree in Communication Studies from UC Santa Barbara. While in college I babysat children daily ranging from ages 8 months to 12 years. After college I took a job as a broadcast journalist for a television station in Southern California. However, I recently decided to follow the family trade and go to law school. I moved back to Sacrmento and I am currently taking LSAT courses. My classes will be at night during the week and during the afternoon on the weekend so I am an ideal candidate for parents who work a steady day job. However, as of December 2nd my schedule is completely open. I have safe and reliable transportation for myself and your children if need be (2007 VW Jetta). I am also a decent chef so your little ones will be well fed. I hope I eased your worries and I look forward to meeting your kids in the near future.

When I started babysitting to earn a little spending money in junior high, I never imagined it would blossom into over 10 years of rewarding employment. I understand that finding someone to care for children is tough since a nanny isn't just an employee. I have been a chef to picky eaters, a homework helper, a boogieman fighter, a diorama builder, a coach, a maid, a friend and so much more all under the umbrella of being a "nanny." I understand that you're not simply looking for a babysitter & an observer for a few hours but you want someone who will be actively involved in your child's growth, successes, and frustrations.

I have been babysitting since the age of 11. I started out mostly watching my younger brother and my young cousins. When I was about 13 I started babysitting for families that weren't part of my own family. I was part of my church's nursery staff for about 3 years and have been a leader for Vacation Bible School twice. I was also the babysitter for my parent's Bible study group for 4 years. In February I was hired for a nanny possition for two wonderful boys(5 and 10 years old) I have a lot of experience with infants to adolescent aged children and cannot wait to be a mom myself!
