Hi I'm Nadia,

I am a mom to two kittens (almost 3 whole years !! ) & am one of 7 children in my family. I am the first girl born which quickly equated to "mom's helper" to my older brothers when it came to making lunches, and changing diapers when it came to my younger siblings. I have had many babysitting experiences, and have worked with newborn infants to 13-14 year olds. Crafts, excursions, & imaginative play are some of my favorite activities.

I used work at a Boys & Girls club as a youth development leader during summers. My class ranged from 36-45 K-1st graders (IT WAS ALOT OF YOUNGSTERS & FUN) which is the age I have had most experience with and I favor. I mean who doesn't favor those adorable toddler years when their personality is really coming out, and every word out of their mouth is pure comedy. We were a collaborative staff which meant I did get the opportunity to work with all the kids who are enrolled in the club at times. I planed activities & worked to make each day an enjoyable one for everyone.

I absolutely love working with kids, I've realized they often teach us much more about ourselves than we could ever teach them, and it's important that every interaction they have with adults, should be positive to help them grow and develop with confidence. I have a huge passion for the way our mind develops and I strive to be a behavioral neuroscientist, for me babysitting has opened my eyes to see how different every child's home life is. The experiences each child has in their home shapes them for who they become as adults. I am extremely proud to get the chance to be a part of so many lives.

I am a mother of four. They are all now grown. I am from the Mammoth lakes area, about 6 hours north of here, where it is very beautiful. When my two youngest were in high school, I went back to school myself pursuing Degree's in Social & Behavioral Science. I am now two classes away from my Bachelor's, then onto my Master's. The classes I left for my Bachelor's and a majority of the classes in the Master's program are clinical, so they have to be done on-campus. Which is the main reason for my move. I worked as a Behavioral Therapist for a short while before moving here. So I'm certified CPR/AED & First Aid. In my non working hours I will have challenge studies, so I decided to try and get a position as a Nanny. I AM an excellent Mother of four successful adult children and I was a Nanny before having children, although, that was a while back now. I hope you will consider at least meeting with me, and giving some thought to giving me a shot. I look forward to meeting with you both. Thank you

I truly enjoy spending time with kids, I always have. I am a well rounded adult that loves to share kindness and life lessons with the little ones of our future. I find working with children very fulfilling and enjoying work. I started as a Mother's Helper when I was 11 years old and have been nannying/babysitting and working with kids in general off and on ever since. 10 years ago I was the busiest babysitter in the neighborhood back home on the East Coast :) I am not 30 years old & have recently been working/living in Costa Rica at a Spiritual Health Resort the last two years and am currently looking to find some work that is less taxing on the body and more gentle energetically. I am a modern day woman with a spiritual side and love connecting with nature, being out doors, and letting my playful youthful side out with the kiddos. I am very easy to work with and communicate well. I am happy to follow the direction of the parents and be there to support the family and their needs.

My name is Sabrina and I will be graduating from SDSU in December with a B. S. in Child and Family Development.

I am working in a Children's Center in the toddler classroom, I am an Associate Teacher and am responsible for 8 toddlers at a time. I have infant experience though as the center uses a "Continuity of Care" model, I have been with these children for almost 2.5 years.

I am CPR/First Aid Certified, and am looking to care and grow with families starting in mid-January as I will be graduated by then. I have also read many books about best care practices for infants and toddlers and enjoy watching the milestones they are able to achieve every day.

Schedule wise, I am still working part-time and attending classes and am not available full-time until mid-January. All responsibilities I am able to do and feel comfortable doing. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for considering,
Sabrina P.
