I am an elementary school teacher. I just finished my first year teaching third grade in the School District. As my contract was a temporary contract, I am having a difficult time securing a position for this next school year. Before I taught third grade, I completed my student teaching in a first grade class as well as a fourth grade class. I started babysitting my younger siblings and neighborhood kids when I was 10 years old. There were multiple families on my street with 3 or 4 kids. In high school I had numerous teachers ask me to babysit their kids, including my swim coach, my brothers' football coaches, and then, many of their neighbors. I started working at a coffee shop when I was 16, and all the moms I worked with solicited me to care for their kids. One coworker in particular with 4 young kids, referred me to one of her best friends from high school who was looking for a nanny. So, in 2008 I started working for her part-time watching her 4 little girls. She is a teacher and she job shared, so I was working Monday, Tuesday and every-other Wednesday. In 2009, the other teacher who she job-shared with called me because her daycare was closing down. She needed me to watch her 2 little girls for the school year on the remaining days of the week. In 2010, both of the moms moved to full-time work, so they trusted me as a full-time nanny for their 6 girls. I also brought my cousin's infant with me. In February 2010, their ages were, 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7!! The older 3 went to school and I brought the 4 year old to preschool and to dance lessons. The others all came with me to the zoo, museums, parks, pools, libraries, and other various places. In September of 2010, I continued to juggle those two families, plus another family with two children! The three families lived close enough to each other so that they were able to drop their kids off at the designated house I was going to be at that day! It was a crazy schedule working for the 3 families, but it worked so perfectly! I loved the consistent change, and I loved the challenge of creating a schedule for the kids that worked every day. During the summer of 2012 I was an assistant teacher at my cousin's home daycare center. I taught the two-year old classes and helped out with the preschool activities. In the fall of 2012 I moved with my husband to San Diego to finish my student teaching practicum and to earn my degree in elementary education.

Hello to all the beautiful families searching for a wonderful nanny. Over the past 10yrs I have worked many caregiver/nanny positions involving teenagers, middle aged children and infants which includes everything from childbirth to being a nanny for kids in their early months and older. I am CPR certified, First Aid trained and conduct annual training courses for nannies to learn more at becoming the best that I can be at what I do. As far as my history I am a Portuguese language teacher and taught in a Brazilian university and other schools while living in Brazil. Currently I am here in San Diego studying international business at the SDUIS college. I also am currently employed full time since 2014 as a nanny/babysitter for a family with one beautiful 6-month-old girl and have been with her since she was 1 month old. In addition to being a teacher, my years of a nanny/caregiver experience I have gained knowledge in many aspects of a daily routine to keep your children safe and happy. My responsibilities in my nanny career and even currently for the beautiful girl I care for now include everything from preparing healthy meals, making sure the children enjoy their day by going on daily walks in the park, depending on the childs age placing them down for evening/bedtime nap routines, story time at the local libraries or at home, establish a positive relationship by creating stimulating games and activities to aid in their learning process while having fun at the same time, maintaining a healthy and safe environment and making sure that only permitted people come to visit. I understand that being a nanny is much more than being a body watching your child. I implement games and stimulating activities to help your childs brain to grow and become more intelligent as well as keeping them fully occupied throughout the day. If I sound like someone you would enjoy having as your nanny I would love to hear from you.

Since I was 11 years old, I have been caring for children of all ages. I have babysat for over 20 families, most long-term, and some short-term (summers). I will be graduating from San Diego State in May with my bachelors degree in child and family development. Throughout my undergraduate degree, I have help positions at many internships, working with both typically developing children and atypically developing children. I have a great passion for working with children and have decided to take a career path in the medical field. I will be attending the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in the fall and I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with children in a medical setting. Some other experiences I have with working with children are on the pediatric ward at Kaiser San Diego. I planned age-appropriate activities for children and their families whether they were in for a short time, or a long treatment process. My most favorite life experience was when my niece was born. My brother-in-law was deployed so I became my sister's birth partner. I got to experience the birth and then care for my niece 100% of the time for her first month of life. It was a very rewarding experience!

Looking to share my awesome nanny. She is amazing with my 9 month old girl. She speaks Russian and English fluently. She is older and therefore far more mature. This is Ina's full time job and she takes it very seriously. She loves taking my baby outside for long walks. I live 3 blocks from the beach so they go to the water every day. I have two very friendly dogs and a big back yard that can accommodate toys. I have Ina at my house from 9am until about 6pm Monday through Friday. I am looking to nanny share with a family with an older child, 2yrs and above.
