I started babysitting for friends of the family as soon as I was old enough to get my Red Cross certificate. I have babysat weekends and Summers ever since. I have also worked some after school care, and know that I am patient and helpful when getting kids through difficult homework assignments. The children I watch are important to me, and many past families call often when a child has a homework project due the next day, or the parents are going out last minute. Some families I have worked for have had multiple children, and being a part of a family's growth and the children's development is something I cherish. When working with children, I take special care to implement art and outdoor play, as well as reading and projects, for a well rounded child. I know that I work very well with children and have loved every child I have worked for.

My last childcare experience was just as amazing as all the other ones. I cared for a family with 4 boys! YES! I said 4 boys - they were 7, 9, 10 and 13 years old. They were awesome! Everyday was a fun day with them. I picked them up from school and drove them to extra curricular activities. I also cooked dinner for the family and got snacks ready for the boys. It was a great experience. Sadly, I had to leave them because I was getting closer to finish my Medical Assistant Program and I had to start my externship and the hours I had available wouldn't work with their schedule. however, I am really happy I met all of them because I had so much fun with them. Actually, I always have fun with the children I work, I make sure they like and that we do fun activities but of course, making sure that they listen to me at all times that I am their friend but I am also responsible for them. I am there to educate them as well as care for them and keep them safe.

I have multiple years of experience with children who have various multiple needs. To me my job as a Nanny is to find out how your child responds to his surroundings and act accordingly. Every child is different, its all about finding the good, teaching through the bad and creating friendships in the process. I have always created strong bonds with the children I work with and we truly become friends. It has worked best for me when we have an open nanny to parent relationship where the wellbeing of the children is discussed daily. I am always willing and happy to accommodate any new needs or requests. My overall goal is to become friends with your child/children and to help your home life run a little smoother. If this sounds like a great fit, I'd love to hear from you!

I have been a nanny since 2005 , and have worked for three different families. I have experience with children ranging from 9 months to 10 years old. I enjoy working with children , as their simple approach to everyday life intrigues me, and I enjoy enriching their lives. My duties in my past and present jobs consist of, getting children up and dressed for the day, preparing meals, taking children to and from school including and extracurricular activities, and assisting with homework. For younger children, I read books, play games, do crafts, take them to the park and that them to play dates. I also help families with household duties like laundry, preparing evening meals, and light housecleaning. When Mom and Dad get home from their hard day at work, I like to have the house nice and tidy. I am looking for a Monday and Tuesday position from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Wednesday, I can also work from 7 a.m to 6 p.m. However on Wednesday, I care for a 5 year old boy and a 9 year girl from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. I pick them up from school at xx. I am able to watch all of the children on Wednesday, or I can work for you on Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 12:30. Currently I am not available on Thursday and Friday.

I have been a nanny in the United States for over 6 years. First, I took care a baby girl when she was 1 month till she was 5 years old. When she attended school as a full time student, I returned to Canada College to continue my education; my major was Medical Assistant. I haven’t got my degree yet because I received a full time job: babysit a 5 month old baby. When she was 19 months, her mother quit her job and stayed at home, so I had to leave. I love children so much. I usually took them to the parks, libraries, Gymboree, music classes, festivals, museums... I also took care of them when their parents went on their own vacations. My employers said that I was very reliable, timely, conscientious, hardworking, and respectful. If I receive a job, I hope that I could be a member of this family. I have CPR and First Aid certificates and a Child Care Management Diploma.

I am looking for 1 or 2 families who want to share my son’s nanny. I live in Cambrian Park, South San Jose, CA.

I have a six and half month-old son who is at the moment cared for by our amazing full time nanny. We are very happy with her, that's why we wanted to share her care with other kids too as well as and share the cost.

More about our nanny: She was a preschool teacher before starting employment with us with excellent references. She has been with us for the past 3 months and from our experience she is very competent in all-things-babies. Starting from making baby food, to playing with him, participating in development activities, encouraging him to crawl, doing baby's laundry etc, she takes care of all these and more.

I can share my experience in more details, and her curriculum she follows with my son if you're interested. Looking forward to hearing from some wonderful families :)
