Throughout the past 11 years I've done a lot of babysitting and volunteering that involve children. When I was around 10 years old I started watching my neighbors children. There were 5 children all under the age of 9. For volunteering, I was part of a school based mentoring program. I would help my "little' with his homework, we'd go outside and play and I'd be there for him if he just need to talk. Along with that, I was also involved with a program my high school it's designed to help students graduating from Jr. high transition to high school. We'd have group meeting throughout the year to make sure that their transition was going well. If not, we'd made sure that we would address the situation as soon as possible.

While living in LA, I worked with an amazing family in Beverly Hills, taking care of their 4 children, ages 5, twin girls at 7 and an 11 year old boy. I became very close with the family, taking care of the kids for 3 years. Once I finished graduate school, I left LA and no longer could work with the family. I have also worked with children for the past 5 years coaching soccer. I have dealt with up to 90 kids at a time while coaching. I have done after camp care where I watched and played with the children. I have done such job for 30+ hours a week in the past.

Hello, I have been a professional career Nanny for 20+ yrs. I have had 10+ long term families over those years. Two of the families were a share for 11 years. I am also a mother of one son 12 y. Prior to my start as a professional nanny I worked in preschool and day cares for about 4 years. My last family just relocated to So. CA. at the end of June. I had been with them for almost 2 yrs. I can't say enough about this family. I will miss them greatly. I was in charge of caring for there 5 week old at the beginning. I consider my job being like a second mom to all the kids I have had in my care. I give love, care, safety, comfort, exploration, activities, walks, art, Reading (one thing I truly believe in), outings, Classes, swimming and play. I am clean and organized, on time and can not remember the last time I was sick. It's nice to have a second pair of hands to do the food shopping, take care of dry cleaning and other errands. I am certified in CPR, First Aid, I am Trustline certified in the state of CA.. I work with New Born's on up. I have impeccable references. Please feel free to get it touch with me. Thanks Carri Im hopping to find a new family in San Ramon or Pleasanton.

I first started when I began college in 1999 and continued to do so seven years after. I also did some babysitting odd and end work before that for family and neighbors. My first nanny experience was for a family with one little boy. He was 6 mos when I started and when I quit he had just turned five. My second experience was with a family with three boys...ages ranged 2-7. I took care of them for almost two years. My duties included infant care, preparing meals, dressing for school, night time bathing, overnight care, driving to school/ to home and to events such as sporting activities etc.

We have an opening in our nanny share starting in July. Our current nanny cares for our son (14 months) and a baby girl (15 months) full time. The other family no longer needs care once this school year completes. Our nanny is a warm, caring, and loving person who adores both children. They both love her and have huge smiles on their faces when Cassie walks in. Cassie has over 16 years of experience. She makes sure to take the kids to the playground everyday and does lots of activities (reading, games, singing) with them at home. She has a BA in Art Education and a masters in Fine Arts, as well as having her teaching certificate for K-12. In her free time she does freelance work writing and illustrating children’s books. Ideally, we are looking for someone who needs 40 hours per week. Currently, we have Cassie from 8-4 M-F but can be flexible on the start and end times. We are also open to hosting. In our current situation, we have a 2-week alternating hosting schedule which has worked well. Lastly, we live in San Leandro and work in Oakland so looking for a family in these areas.
