Hello! I’m currently in Barcelona Spain where I am working for a wonderful family. I am a nanny for their two children (ages 7 and 9) I also teach them English daily. I wake the two kids for school each day, prepare breakfast and see them off to school. I then work with the families schedule to help take care of the children until bed. This of course includes clean up, homework, dinner, baths, preparing for the next day of school, going to the pool and other activities. I have enjoyed my stay but will be returning to the U.S. in June. During 2011/2012 I worked as a nanny for a family with two kids who were 2 and 3. While working with this family, I was also attending college full time. With this family I helped with the process of potty training both children, preparing meals and keeping them active during the day with age appropriate activities. (going to the library, playing at the park, arts and crafts, reading stories etc.) Previous to this I lived in Aspen, CO where I was a nanny/household manager for a great family for 2 years. When I started with the family, the kids were 8, 9 and 10. I was in charge of all of their studies, along with keeping a close relationship with their teachers and volunteering at their school. I was in charge of the kid’s schedule; signing them up for competitions, getting supplies needed for school projects, drove kids to all activities and helped to keep their lives in order. I also worked to make their lives more fun and active by taking them skiing, biking, to movies and other fun events. I traveled with the family numerous times including trips out of state. I helped to prepare dinner nightly along with cleanup afterwards. I also was solely in charge of keeping house organized and fully stocked, including grocery and clothing shopping. The parents often traveled, and I’ve stayed with the 3 children numerous times overnight. Previous to this, I was an Aupair for a wonderful Swedish family in California; the kids were 7 and 10. With this family; I did partial housekeeping, daily tutoring and all driving for the kids. The kids spoke English quite well since they were living in the States, but I did a lot of helping the children with their studies since it was difficult for the parents to do so. I also took care of the family pets. I have been babysitting and working as a nanny for many years, so I have lots of other families as well that I have worked with; but those are the three most recent. Besides these last jobs I have taken care of infants, children with ADHD and twins. I also have worked as a live-in nanny multiple times and find I work well with families. I have found the balance of being integrated into the family while also being professional as an employee. I was an elementary school tutor for 2.5 years at Erie Elementary in Colorado, thus I have lost of experience with homework help and daily learning activities. I am CPR/Red Cross Certified. I have a current drivers license. I also am happy to complete a background check if needed. Lastly, I am the eldest sibling of 6 (all under the age of 10!), so I have lots of experience with children and fulfilling the "big sister" role. I am looking forward to find a new welcoming family to being working with. Thanks! Erica

As far as work history goes, I have been babysitting for various families since the age of 12. During my senior year of high school I graduated a semester early, which allowed for me to transition into a full time nanny for a family I previously babysat for. The children (two boys) were 2 and 10. While Josh, the oldest was in school, Chance and I spent the majority of time together. In regards to my duties I did the standard preparing snacks/meals, bathing Chance, reading & playing, transportation to various activities & picking Josh up from school. I also ran errands and did some light cleaning/laundry at their mother's request. In total this position lasted 3 years, 1 of them being classified as a full-time nanny. After graduating from college in May of 2012, I was offered a live-in position with a family in Scarsdale, NY, which began in January of 2013. The family had three school-aged children, who were 7, 10 & 13 when I began. I was in charge of getting the kids off to school every morning, and then any afternoon/evening duties once they got home. I did homework help, transportation to any activities/school functions, arts & crafts, lots of reading, meal prep (breakfast, lunch, dinner & snacks) and the children's laundry. We were constantly doing something, whether it was going to the pool, playing soccer in the backyard or playing Just Dance on the Wii. I was with this family for two years and absolutely adore them! While finishing my second year in New York I decided to move closer to home (Kansas) and found a job working full-time in Denver, Colorado. This is the family I currently work for and they have twin toddlers. When I started this position in January of 2015 Margaret & Jonah were only 6 months old. Working with twins has proven to be such a rewarding experience and we have so much fun together. Our days consist of going to the children's museum or science museum, visiting the zoo and going to the pool or splash park in the summer. We read all day every day and do various arts & crafts. I try to do at least one main activity each day - for example, last fall we went to the local pumpkin patch where we picked out a few pumpkins that we finger painted. I'm responsible for feeding them breakfast, lunch, dinner and any snacks. We do a lot of preschool activities, so at two years old they're able to sing their ABC's, count to 10.

I’ve been around kids my whole life. I am 23 years old. I have been a nanny for about 5 years off and on for 6 different families with children ages 3 months to 7 years old. For my last family I worked at least 55 hours a week, they had 3 boys ages 11 months, three, and six years old. I was with that family for about a year and a half. I spent a lot of time helping my cousin who had two sets of multiples, and I take care of my nephew all the time. I grew up with my adopted mother running an in home daycare. I was a mother’s helper; I started babysitting when I was 10. At 11 I worked in the church nursery and with the Sunday school. I was there for about 5 years and in that time I worked with ages 1 to 14. I have worked with children who had special needs or who developed slower and different from most children. When I moved to a new church, I worked in the nursery in the toddler room for 4 1/2 years. I started coaching gymnastics for kids ages 2-9 where we would actually go to different schools, set up the equipment and teach for 1 hour. I have been junior camp counselor for a number school aged kids. I can help with homework, cook and I can help make sure children understand what they are learning; I love arts and crafts, and holiday projects. I always have ideas for fun activities that work on early childhood development like counting, alphabets, shapes, colors, animals, etc. I’ve made hundreds of crafts with all ages. I love taking kids outside on fun outings anywhere, nature walks, or going to the park and just enjoying the fresh air. I have 4 nieces and nephews ages 2 to 8. I have 2 children that are 1 and almost 4.

I have worked as a child caregiver for over 13 years. I began working at a preschool as a teacher's helper when I was just 15 years old. From there, I moved on to become a teacher's assistant for four years, and eventually became a pre-kindergarten teacher for three years. I made a career choice to become a nanny and it has been a wonderful experience! I have been a live-in nanny for over two years, and I have worked with four families, children ranging in age from infancy to 9 years old, and with families of up to four children. I have now had the opportunity to work with children in both a school setting and a home setting. Each one comes with it's own experiences and challenges, and both are rewarding!

Hi Denver Families! I just relocated to Denver by way of New York City. I am a pastry chef by trade and my specialty is cake decorating. I've been a nanny on and off for the last 7 years along side my pastry career. I love being creative and working with my hands, whether it's with cakes or arts & crafts. I love being able to incorporate my pastry background into working with children, food is a great team building activity that is fun to do with a result you can enjoy and share. I've spent a lot of time baking with the kids I have worked with in the past, but fear not, it's not all cookies and cupcakes! I also know how to make healthy smiling sandwiches and snacks :) I have experience with a variety of age groups. I have worked with infants through 11 years old. Back on the east coast I was with a family for a year and a half caring for their 18 month old boy and 3 year old girl. This was a full time position working 7am-7pm. During my time spent with the family I had the opportunity to work with the younger boy and fully potty train him. This was also during the development pre-school stages for the young girl and I was able to work with her on writing and spelling out her first name. These were very rewarding experiences that I was lucky enough to be able to share first hand with this family. I think it's important that the person caring for your children is not just there to watch them, but there to support and encourage them and help them grow. I think it's important for a sitter to be involved in this process and aide in each child's progression even while the parents are away. I am a very active person that loves to be outside and constantly seeking new adventures. Whether it's an imaginative walk to the park or just in the backyard I like to encourage active imaginations and story telling. I should also mention I am a huge animal lover! Any and all dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, reptiles and anything in between! I have two cats of my own that I adore! I'd love to hear from you and learn more about your families. Please reach out to me with any questions and I'd be happy to get back to you!

Hi! I'm Katie, my husband's name is Ben, and our daughter was born in December 2017. We have a nanny who will be starting with us at the beginning of March. But we need another family to join Part-Time to make it work financially.

We would prefer to host at our house in Park Hill (28th and Ash), though that could be flexible, if it's a dealbreaker.

Though we're looking for a set schedule, the days and times we choose with another family are flexible. Ideally for us, we're looking to share about 4 days a week for roughly 6 hours a day. Somewhere in that range.

Even if you can only do 2 days instead of 4, that's a place to start! Thank you for considering!

We recently lost our nanny-share because the other boys' mom (my sister) had a baby and is now staying home. Our nanny availability is 8:30am-430pm M-F. My child is 4.5 yrs old, and loves legos and playing outside. They are always doing crafts and do play based learning. We start at a preschool in September, so this nanny-share goes through August.

As a parent, it’s natural for you to ask your nanny for a little extra help around the house. However, the boundaries for a nannies duties vary from person to person.
