Hello!
A little bit about me, I have nannied full time for 3 wonderful families and get great reward out of working with children. My first family was two girls ages 2 & 4. The youngest was diagnosed with leukemia and I was a live in Nanny for two months at the beginning of her treatment. I worked with them for a year. The mom was a stay at home mom and eventually it came to a natural end, as they no longer need me.

Then I worked with another family with a 2 & 4 year old. Both children had some social development delays and behavior issues. I worked with them on speech development, emotional expression, creative and imaginative games, manners and boundaries. I was with them for four months, the mom was a teacher and they needed help just until summer.

My most recent family was for a first time mom. I worked as a mothers helper right when the baby was born and transitioned to full time when she went back to work. I also had a Nanny share with them for a few months, with their then 7 month old and a 5 month old. I worked with them for a year and had a lot of joy watching the little one grow.

I enjoy being active, going for walks, lots of reading, playing games and music and over all having fun in a safe and nurturing environment. I think children teach us just as much as we teach them and to be always listening with an open ear and heart.

I am in a unique position as my husband and I are expecting our first child and I would only be available till sometime in May. I am very caring, patient and reliable. I can be available on short notice and for date nights as needed. References available on request. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hey my name is Sophia. I am 18 years old and love to work with kids. I have a few niece and nephew from the ages 9 months- 8 years. I’m always surrounded by children and everyone tells me that it’s crazy to see how fast children fall in love with me. I graduated from high school in May and next year in August I’ll be work studying in Europe since I am German and Italian. I will be studying child development and already have done a course similar in high school. I know how to cook (Italian roots coming through) I love to go out doors, read and nap times! Hopefully I am good enough to nanny your children and I can start right away!

As a parent, it’s natural for you to ask your nanny for a little extra help around the house. However, the boundaries for a nannies duties vary from person to person. In general, a nanny is responsible for making sure your children’s needs are met. This includes things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active, that they have a healthy diet and a sanitary home.
