I have been a nanny in the USA for the past 5 years, plus 3 in my home country. I'm looking for a full time job where I can use my skills to the best of children. I'm a college student in management. I also took psychology class which had helped me to deal with situations that came up, like observing how a infant is developing or why the child is having such behavior! By studying and working help me to multitask really well. In Brazil my experience began when I was 17 years old. I started taking care of children of age between 2 years to 5 years old, mainly to help some of my mom's friends and I loved it, so it became an extra job since I was working as a secretary in an office. After taking care of children for 3 years I decided to expand my knowledge and learn another language! In 2009 I got in the USA to become an Au Pair for a family of 4 children, ages between newborn to 6 years old, and since this I have been working as a full time nanny! As a nanny my experience with children ages were between newborns to 12 years old. I loved every experience I gained those past 5 years. When I'm working I like to keep the children active, playing a game, doing arts and crafts or if the weather allows going to parks and beaches! If the children are having fun, that's what matter for me! I speak English and Portuguese fluently and have taught children how to speak Portuguese, which I can teach if you want me to. I have my own car, and I can swim. I am CPR certified, a non-smoker as well as have a clean driving record. I’d be happy to provide references as well.

I started off as a baby sitter 4 years ago to a family I met thru friends in Bridgeport. I started when her son was only 2 months old, at first it was a regular part time baby sitting position. Over the few month she was impressed on how good I was with her son and how much of a helping hand I was to Her. After a year I became a full time live in nanny for her son. I would handle anything from feeding him, diaper checks, potty training, teaching him how to read, doctor appointments and etc. In the meanwhile I also work per diem for a family of three in Milford, ct. She has two girls Brooke and Taja! Brooke was 4 at the time and going to school Taja was 2 and wasn't in school. This position was only when she needed me or her regular nanny wasn't able to work that day. I would put Brooke on the bus in the morning, during the day me and Taja would hang out and go to the beach, or the park, ride or bikes or going shopping ( that was Taja favorite).
